Script-to-Screen: The Revenant

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

With clips on the screen and screenplay in hand, Mark L. Smith will take us on a journey of adapting The Revenant; working with Alejandro González Iñárritu; and how he tackled character, description, and structure in this visually epic, Academy Award® winning film. This panel offers a great case study for writers looking to learn more about the evolution from original script to shooting script, the writer/director relationship, the types of changes made during production, and why.

THIS PANEL HAS EXTENDED TIME AND WILL END AT 4:15PM.
Those who enrolled in the advance sign-up for this session are required to show up 15 minutes early and will be admitted first. The panel will then open to remaining Badge holders.
