Few shows rival the reputation, longevity, daringness, and esteem of Saturday Night Live, which is perhaps due in part to its rigorous and demanding work environment. To make it at SNL is practically the equivalent of earning a PHD in comedy (with a side of insanity and healthy serving of insomnia). Such was the case for SNL veterans on this panel, who are here to share hard-earned lessons from late night, how they managed to come up with fresh content week after week, and the inner-workings of one of the greatest variety shows of all time. All that’s missing is more cowbell.
