In an industry that loves reboots and re-imaginings, writers are finding a home for film-based television shows more and more. Though they have pre-established stories at their fingertips, this transition between mediums bears its challenges. How do you expand the story and its characters over the course of the season, while preserving the spirit and tone of the source material? Sit down with writers from Bates Motel, Godzilla, and Minority Report as they share how they navigated these adaptations, while also putting their own spin on the story.
