The Apartment. Double Indemnity. Sunset Boulevard. Some Like It Hot. It’s undeniable that Billy Wilder was one of the greatest writer/directors Hollywood has ever seen. Known for films that exuded airtight plots, clever characters, and even smarter dialogue, his work influenced the landscape of cinema as we know it. Panelists will deconstruct how Wilder’s writing has informed their own work, and ways his films can serve as case-studies for others.
