A notorious interracial couple uses their last political capital to open a radical law school in 1970s Washington D.C. that recruits pupils from the fringes of counterculture and lets them practice law three months into their first year. When one such student gets involved in a controversial case capable of setting precedent at the Supreme Court, they are forced to choose between their ideals, their school, and their marriage.
Five scripts have been chosen from this year's group of Semifinalists and Finalists in the Screenplay and Teleplay Competition to be read aloud in our Script Reading Workshops. Selected scripts will be performed by a group of actors in an intimate setting.
