Jean Pesce

Writer/Director/Producer
Just moved to LA from NYC with my rescue dog, a crazy little nut named Henry. I am major-league psyched to be in Austin! I'm here with my feature script, a comedy called "The Rovers," which was a Quarterfinalist in the The Nicholl and is a Semi-Finalist at the AFF.

I'm currently editing my NYU Grad thesis film, a dark comedy called "So You Like the Neighborhood." My last two shorts were also dark comedies. "Mr. Lamb" played at over thirty film festivals worldwide and won the Audience Choice Award at the 2013 Williamsburg Independent Film Festival. "Queso Flameado," was in competition for the Grand Jury Prize at the Dallas International Film Festival in the Shorts Program.

I am currently a MFA candidate at NYU studying screenwriting and film directing. Before that, I worked in film production as a Location Manager, Producer, and Editor in New York City for ten years.
