Greg DePaul (screenwriter, Bride Wars, Saving Silverman) has sold comedy screenplays to Miramax, Fox, Disney, New Line, Sony, MGM, and Village Roadshow studios. He is the author of Bring the Funny: The Essential Companion for the Comedy Screenwriter, published by Focal Press. Bring the Funny is the first and only book about comedy screenwriting to use only 21st century films as examples. Greg is also a playwright. His play, Death by Bunga Bunga, a dark comedy about Hollywood screenwriters, was developed with The Collective, a NYC-based production company founded by Amy Schumer and Kevin Kane. He practices entertainment law and teaches screenwriting at NYU and The New School.
