Meta Valentic began her career as the youngest member of the DGA Assistant Director's Training Program. Her credits include “Nixon”, “Castle”, “Lost”, “Bones”, and the Golden Globe winning musical comedy “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”.

Meta has produced 5 independent feature films, including the critically acclaimed URBANIA, which played the Sundance and Toronto film festivals and was released by Lionsgate. Recently Meta produced the web series comedy pilot “Trying”, starring Emmy nominated actor Jason Ritter (“Parenthood”). She is developing the narrative adaptation of the documentary CRIME AFTER CRIME, which played the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and won the Freedom of Expression Award from the National Board of Review. Meta is producing the sex- positive feature THE BANG BANG GIRLS, which will enroll YouTube influencers and sex-ed activists for grassroots support. Meta’s latest producing effort, the US-China co-production KNOCKOUT GIRLS, will film in late 2016.

Meta was selected as a 2015 Producer’s Guild Diversity Workshop Fellow, and a 2015 Sundance Film Financing Intensive Fellow. She is a judge and conference panelist at the annual Austin Film Festival. Meta is active in the Producers Guild of America. She co-chairs the Mentorship Committee, which administers over 100 producer-to- producer mentorships each year. She is involved in the PGA Women's Impact Network, which seeks to increase the power and visibility of female producers and filmmakers.
