Nick hails from Melbourne, Australia, where he completed a Masters of Screenwriting at the Victorian College of the Arts, and went on to teach Screenwriting at the University of Melbourne. While there, he wrote for three seasons of late-night comedy, and was a freelance sitcom writer. After moving to North America, Nick came up in the trenches of physical production in Vancouver and Los Angeles, assisting directors and producers on features for studios like Lionsgate, and working on television shows such as Bates Motel, The Family, Criminal Minds, and The Muppets. He is now a freelance animation writer for Hasbro Studios, as well as a Creative Executive for boutique production & management company Artillery Creative. Artillery currently has writers staffed on Timeless and Chicago PD, and projects set up at the Weinstein Company, MACRO, FilmNation, Aggregate/Universal, and the Mark Gordon Company. Nick's focus is on developing for television and comedy, and is always looking for exciting projects and new voices.
