U.S. Navy Veteran . I actually started writing stories after many years with the Navy. Writing in a journal every day while being at sea when it's just you, the open water and the drama onboard a flagship, it's kind of hard not to come up with interesting characters and story. so many sea stories.... so little time... It was then that I my passion for writing, creating story, characters. Writing a screenplay from a WWII vet's memoir was exhausting and emotional and painful at times. Writing my first screenplay "Haze Gray" in 1999 is based off of actual events onboard the flagship in Yokosuka Japan, which was my last tour with the Navy.
