Courtenay Hameister is the former host, head writer, and co-producer of Live Wire, a nationally-syndicated radio variety show airing on over 110 stations. She is also a columnist, playwright, and screenwriter whose projects include writing and directing the award-winning short Stella's Flight and co-writing ten 48-hour films as well as the web series The Benefits of Gusbandry. She also co-wrote the satirical stage adaptations Roadhouse: The Play! and Lost Boys: Live!. Her first book, Reluctant, is due in late 2017 from Little, Brown.
